Pieces from the Turkoman tribes and the peoples of Central Asia are well known for their quality.  Pendants and necklaces built on sheets of silver or mixed metals and then goldwashed or gilded are prevalent, as are granulation work and cutout designs.  Carnelian and red glass are often used as insets, along with other colored stones and glass.  Look for large cuff bracelets, tunic clasps, and other peices with etched designs as well as colorful wool and silk tassels.
