Shipping & Returns
SHIPPING
We make every effort to ship your order within 24 hours of receiving it. Some circumstances will extend that period to 48 hours or perhaps more (weekends/holidays) on occasion.
In unusual cases, there will be a longer period of time to ship. For known shipping delays a notice will be postedon the web site (such as vacation, vending trips or other absence from the office) or in individual cases, you will be notified via email with the expected ship date.
US DOMESTIC SHIPPING
The Red Camel ships by USPS priority mail in boxes for most items. Small and/or flat items can sometimes be shipped by first class mail. Orders shipped by first class mail are shipped in padded envelopes. If you think your order will need more protection than a padded envelope, please select shipping via priority mail.
U.S. customers can request Express Mail, UPS or Federal Express shipping for expedited service, although this may not be possible if I am out of town (vending over a weekend for example). Please email info@redcamel.net or call the office 314.962.3522 if you wish to have your order shipped by an expedited service.
PLEASE NOTE: Shipping costs quoted on the check out page DO NOT include shipping insurance. If you wish to purchase shipping insurance, please click the link provided on the checkout page and select the appropriate amount of insurance for your order.
INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING
The Red Camel ships internationally via the US Postal Service by priority international mail. Small and/or flat items may be shipped by first class air mail. I do not ship via FedEx or UPS. These shippers have extrememly high shipping charges, including additional charges for import paperwork. USPS International priority mail is insurable, offers the lowest shipping charges and does not charge an additional fee for the processing of import paperwork.
Priority international orders are shipped in boxes. First class international air mail orders are shipped in padded envelopes. If you think your order will need more protection than a padded envelope, please select shipping via international priority.
CUSTOMS, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES: Typically import duties and taxes on international orders for the types of items sold on this web site are quite high. CUSTOMER IS SOLELY RESPONSIBLE FOR CUSTOMS FEES, IMPORT DUTIES AND TAXES. The Red Camel is not responsible for any national, regional or local customs fees, duties or taxes imposed by governmental authorities outside the U.S. Import duties are not 'shipping' charges and are not included in shipping fees charged on this website. Please contact your local customs officials for details on the duties and taxes you will be required to pay upon receipt of your shipment.
IMPORT RESTRICTIONS: Some countries restrict the import of silver, coins and other items. The Red Camel cannot ship these items to countries that impose restrictions on them.

OTHER IMPORTANT NOTES ON INTERNATIONAL SHIPPING:
The Red Camel purchases shipping through a USPS postage program and all shipping labels are marked as originating from The Red Camel. Merchandise shipped from The Red Camel cannot be marked as originating from a private individual. Packing slips are always included with your order and do not list item prices, however commercial goods shipped outside the US CANNOT be marked as "gift" to avoid import duties, and the contents and/or value of the items contained in any shipment CANNOT be falsified on import paperwork. These actions are ILLEGAL and prohibited by U.S. and international government regulations.
RETURNS
The Red Camel will accept returns of Red Camel merchandise for refund or exchange if items are returned in the original condition as when shipped to you. Items may not be returned if they are changed from the original condition in any way, including replacement components, polishing, silver testing marks, etc. Receipt must accompany returned merchandise. Refunds are made for the amount of purchase only. Shipping is not refundable.
Please contact me by email WITHIN TWO WEEKS OF PURCHASE and let me know that you would like to return your items and the reason for return.
RETURNS WILL NOT BE ACCEPTED WITHOUT PRIOR NOTIFICATION.
